This week Umission honors Allison Felter, and is making a donation to the charity of her choice Tremendous Hearts. The mission of Tremendous Hearts is to provide highly skilled volunteers who commit to serve for a year or more in South African children’s homes and other agencies that care for orphans and vulnerable children. Hats off to Tremendous Hearts for improving care for children, increasing the number of children transitioning out of residential care, and providing eligible volunteers with scholarships — so that all who want to serve are able regardless of their financial circumstances.
