This week Umission honors Lois Severin, and is making a donation to the charity of her choice City Academy. The mission of City Academy is to help children in underserved communities overcome barriers with determination, hard work, and a support system of exceptional educators and advocates with bold expectations. Hats off to City Academy for providing a private, independent elementary school that serves children ages four through sixth grade and provides a nurturing environment that promotes citizenship and instills a love for learning in students.
