This week Umission honors Penny Schmidt, and is making a donation to the charity of her choice KIVA. The mission of KIVA is to connect people through lending to alleviate poverty. Hats off to the KIVA for leveraging the internet and a worldwide network of microfinance institutions and letting individuals lend as little as $25 to help create opportunity around the world.
