John Tetzlaff's Charity of the Week:

Eternal Threads

This week Umission honors John Tetzlaff, and is making a donation to the charity of his choice Eternal Threads.   The mission of Eternal Threads is to improve the lives of women and children most at risk of extreme poverty, trafficking, and other forms of exploitation in such areas as Madagascar, Nepal, and Afghanistan.   Eternal Threads provides the opportunity for people to make sustainable livelihoods by selling their crafts such as handmade jewelry, paper, hand loomed silks, and baskets.   Eternal Threads uses the principle of Fair Trade based on economic and social justice.  Hats off to Eternal Threads for bringing hope and justice to poor women and children in developing countries and enabling them to educate their children and buy nutritious food and medicine.
