This week Umission honors Ellen Hahs, and is making a donation to the charity of her choice the American Heart Association. The mission of the American Heart Association is to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular disease and stroke. Hats off to the American Heart Association for being the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary organization devoted to fighting cardiovascular disease and stroke, and for providing public health education, CPR training, science-based treatment guidelines, policy changes, and other services to improve the health of our communities.
